Biography

Mr Pizzey was elected a Director of the Company on 8 June 2007. He is a Non-Executive Director of Orora Limited (appointed December 2013) and former Non- Executive Director and Chairman of Iluka Resources Ltd (appointed November 2005 and resigned December 2013) and a former Non-Executive director of Amcor Limited (appointed September 2003 and resigned December 2013). He was a director of WMC Resources Ltd until 2005.   Mr Pizzey is a life governor of Ivanhoe Grammar School, honorary Life Member of the International Aluminium Institute in UK, of which he was a director and Chairman, and a former chairman and director of the London Metal Exchange. He is a member of the Audit and Risk Management Committee and of the Nomination and Compensation Committees and was Chair of the then Audit Committee to 30 November 2011. Mr Pizzey’s executive experience was substantially with Alcoa Inc. and Alcoa of Australia. In Australia his positions included General Manager of Sales and Marketing, Director of Victorian Operations and, finally, Chairman. The last ten years of his career was with Alcoa Inc. in the USA where he concluded his career in 2003 as Executive Vice-President and Group President, Primary Products with global responsibilities.
