Biography
Peter is a qualified anatomical pathologist from Wellington, NZ. Peter undertook his PhD studies at the Malaghan Institute of Medical Research where he applied novel magnetic nanoparticles to detect early cancer spread and monitor cancer vaccines. This work earned him the Gold Medal for the best publication in biological sciences from Victoria University. Peter is delighted to be working for MIA where his main research interest is to improve the diagnosis of early melanoma using histology combined with molecular techniques.
