Biography
James has an honours degree in Economics from the University of Western Australia and 30 years' experience as a natural resources sector banker in Australia, Canada and the USA. James began his professional career with BHP Limited before joining Standard Chartered Bank in Perth, N.M. Rothschild & Sons in Sydney then Denver. He also spent 11 years in the USA and co-founded Resource Capital Funds during that time. James is currently the Managing Partner of Resource Capital Funds. He is also the Chairman of Global Advanced Metals Pty Ltd, the world's leading tantalum producer, and a Non-executive Director of Ascot Resources Ltd.
