Biography
Associate Professor Andreas Pflaumer is a consultant paediatric cardiologist with a subspecialty interest in electrophysiology, including an in-depth knowledge of invasive and non-invasive electrophysiology, 3-D mapping systems and remote magnetic navigation. Andreas completed his sub-specialist training in electrophysiology at the German Heart Centre, Technical University, Munich in 2006, subsequently spending a further three and a half years as a senior physician in paediatric cardiology and congenital heart disease there. Andreas has authored/co-authored book chapters, presented at national and international educational events and lectured students. Andreas has a full time appointment with The Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne, and an honorary appointment with MonashHeart. In 2015 he was awarded an honorary clinical associate professor appointment with the Department of Paediatrics, The University of Melbourne.
