Biography
Dr Andrew Davis is the Lead Clinician of the Arrhythmia Service at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne. He trained in general paediatric cardiology at the Royal Children’s Hospital then undertook subspecialty training in electrophysiology at both the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto and Children’s Hospital, Boston. Andrew has a special interest in all aspects of paediatric electrophysiology including diagnostic and therapeutic invasive electrophysiology, cardiac inherited diseases such as long QT syndrome and the prevention of sudden cardiac arrest in paediatric cardiomyopathy. Since 1994, Andrew has held an honorary appointment with MonashHeart where he performs paediatric electrophysiology procedures in the cardiac cath lab in adjunct to his full time appointment at The Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne.
