Biography
Dr Geraldine Goss graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1987, and completed her residency training at ST Vincent’s Hospital and the Austin Hospital. She completed her advanced training in Oncology in 1995, after which she underwent a laboratory based degree as a Breast Cancer Research Fellow, and was awarded a Doctor of Medicine Degree in 1998. She subsequently undertook a fellowship in Medical Oncology and Haematology at St Elizabeth’s Medical Centre in Boston, MA after which she worked at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute until her return to Melbourne in 2000. During this time she focussed increasingly on women’s cancers, and since her return to Melbourne has practised as a specialist in the fields of breast and gynaecology malignancies. In 2005 she completed a Master’s degree in Women’s Health. She currently works at Monash Medical Centre with the Gynaecologic cancer service.
