Logan Bittinger

Biography

Dr Logan Bittinger graduated from the University of Melbourne with honours, before undertaking physician training at Austin Health, then focusing on cardiology at Austin/Northern Health, before completing his training at MonashHeart. He then undertook fellowships in cardiac rhythm management at MonashHeart then Austin Health, before travelling to Canada for a year to one of the highest volume ablation centres in Canada, specialising in complex ablation of atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia. During his time in Canada he participated in high impact clinical research trials and presented at the Heart Rhythm Society conference in San Francisco. After completing his training in cardiac rhythm management (electrophysiology), Logan returned to MonashHeart as a senior medical officer and member of the MonashHeart cardiac rhythm management team. As well as working in MonashHeart’s public cardiology clinic, Logan brought his specialised rhythm management skills to MonashHeart Dandenong’s consulting rooms as the first electrophysiologist consulting there regularly as well as starting and expanding a regular pacemaker/defibrillator clinic. Logan is expert all types of cardiac ablation, including modern techniques for treating atrial fibrillation. He also implants all forms of cardiac devices, including pacemakers, defibrillators and cardiac resynchronisation devices.
