Biography
Associate Professor Sree Appu is the clinical head of Monash Medical Centre and Chief of Urology for the Monash Cancer Centre. He completed his high schooling at Geelong Grammar School and commenced medicine at the University of Melbourne. He graduated near the top of his year level on the Dean’s Honours List for both Medicine and Surgery. He was the first Australian Uro-Oncology fellow at the University of Toronto and is one of a handful of urologists with the prestigious Society of Uro-Oncology Fellowship (SUO). He is fully trained and certified in all aspects of major oncology and minimally invasive treatment of cancers with laparoscopy and robotics. Sree is also a strong academic researcher and was appointed Clinical Adjunct Associate Professor in Urology by Monash University in 2012.
