Biography

Monash Health is Victoria’s largest public health service. Research Interest

Vicki McLeod is a Nurse Practitioner working with the oncology team at Monash Health. Vicki has extensive experience in oncology nursing. She has worked in a variety of positions from Clinical Nurse Consultant, Nurse Manager Outpatient Oncology, and Nurse Unit Manager Inpatient Oncology. She holds a masters of nursing leadership and a masters of Nurse Practitioner. Vicki runs a supportive care clinic on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday morning at the Moorabbin Campus. Patients are able to be reviewed in these clinic between doctor visits for assessment of symptoms and care to address supportive care needs. Vicki also provides telephone support for patients and their families and acts as liaison for community providers and the medical oncology team. Vicki is a member of an executive member of Cancer Nurse Society of Australia Special Practice Network Cancer Nurse Practitioner and the Victorian Oncology Nurse Practitioner community of practice.
