Biography

I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, Psychotherapist and Career Counsellor in private practice in Camberwell, with experience in both the public and private sector. My background is in social & vocational rehabilitation where I worked in senior management and direct service delivery roles gaining skills in personal and career counselling assisting people with physical and psychological disabilities overcome their barriers and find employment. Since establishing my own private practice in 2005 I have applied my skills in personal counselling, psychotherapy and career planning and development to help people improve their mental health and wellbeing in their personal and working life. I provide personal and career counselling to individuals to help them identify and address the issues which are holding them back from achieving satisfaction in the key areas of life. I also provide counselling to couples to develop their communication skills and enhance the quality of their relationships. I am available for professional supervision and mentoring to social workers and career professionals wishing to further develop their skills, reflect on their practice and avoid professional burn out.
