Biography

Carmen Pace is a clinical psychologist and postdoctoral researcher based at the Melbourne Childrens' Campus who has a special interest in the mental health of parents and children, parent-child attachment and child development. She holds a PhD and Master of Psychology (Clinical Child specialisation) from the University of Melbourne. Carmen has a keen interest in implementing research knowledge into healthcare and community settings, and is currently undertaking a Knowledge Transfer Fellowship with the NHMRC Centre for Research Excellence in Cerebal Palsy, developing a toolkit to support and guide health professionals in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of parents of children with a disability. Carmen is also passionate about working with young people and their families and holds a clinical appointment with the Department of Adolescent Medicine at the Royal Children's Hospital.
