Biography
Dr Peter Simm is a paediatric endocrinologist with a special interest in bone and mineral medicine. His doctoral studies were on the effect of oestrogen and growth factors on the growth plate. He completed his post-fellowship training at The Children's Hospital Westmead, Sydney in paediatric bone health, with a focus on assessment and management of paediatric bone disorders. He is a member of the Executive Council of the Asia-Pacific Paediatric Endocrine Society and involved in the Bone and Mineral Working group of the Australasian Paediatric Endocrine Group. He currently reports the bone density studies undertaken at the Royal Children's Hospital (RCH).
