Biography
Monique Seymour joined the Healthy Mothers Healthy Families research group in 2014 as a Senior Research Assistant with the Maternal Health Study. She is also currently working as Reseach Co-ordinator with teh Family Foundations Study. Monique completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology at Swinburne University of Technology. Her honours research investigated behavioural difficulties in young children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder and the relationship with parental stress, fatigue and coping. Currently she is completing her Clinical Psychology PhD at Swinburne University of Technology and the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute, where her research focuses on the mental health of fathers of children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. Monique has worked across numerous research projects focusing on parenting in the postnatal and early parenting period.
