Biography
Pam Thomason is the Hugh Williamson Gait Analysis Laboratory Manager, Senior Clinical and Research Physiotherapist, at the Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne. She has worked in paediatric physiotherapy since 1985 in a variety of roles in orthopaedics, rheumatology, neurology and rehabilitation. Recently Ms Thomason has worked as a research physiotherapist on a randomised controlled trial of single event multilevel surgery for children with cerebral palsy, methods for classifying gait disorders, gait scoring techniques, outcomes of strength training in adolescents with cerebral palsy and a major hip surveillance programme. She is a mentor and educator for post graduate physiotherapy students and staff of the gait laboratory.
