Biography
Simon has been engaged in asthma research since August 2004 when he joined Professor Mimi Tang within the Allergy and Immune Disorders research team at Murdoch Childrens Research Institute. He has proficiency in mouse models of allergic airways disease, lung mechanics in rodents and also possesses expertise in assessing inflammatory and airway remodeling parameters in mouse and human tissue. Simon is an Honorary Fellow in the Departments of Pathology and Paediatrics, the University of Melbourne. He has been invited to contribute to review articles and book chapters in the area of airway remodeling and allergic disease and has spoken at International meetings as well as giving occasion lectures on lung disease at the University of Melbourne
