Biography
I am the current Discipline Leader of Management – a large area with 18 full time staff and approximately 30-40 sessional staff. I have been a Lecturer at the School of Business and Governance (SBG) for 12 years and came to Murdoch with over 15 years experience in the financial services industry. Like a number of staff at the SBG, I am a graduate of Murdoch with a Bachelor of Commerce (Management) and a Masters in Human Resource Management. I am also a recipient of the Vice Chancellors award for Academic Excellence and have received three teaching awards since 2010. I am the current Unit Coordinator for Foundations of Management and Governance (BUS176) and lecture here at the Murdoch South street campus. I have also taught a number of business units within the School of Business and Governance including Organisational Theory and Behaviour, Advanced Human Resource Perspectives and Strategic Management. Research interests straddle both the management and education disciplines. I and colleagues are currently exploring the role and effects of performance feedback on self and peer evaluations within the team context.
