Biography
I joined Murdoch from The University of Adelaide, where I completed my PhD in 2011. I have previously completed a Masters of Business Research from The University of Adelaide and an MSc in Management from University of Bristol, UK. My PhD thesis examined the applicability and effectiveness of ‘open innovation’, an emerging innovation mode, utilising different perspectives and in various contexts. My research on innovation has been linked with adjacent fields including strategic management (the resource-based view and competitive advantage) and knowledge management (absorptive capacity and appropriation). I also have a particular research interest relating to contemporary social, economic and business issues in China. I serve as a reviewer for a number of international peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
