Stephen Klomp

Biography

As the Associate Dean Learning and Teaching my role is focused on the improvement of the business curriculum and adaptation of learning and teaching practices. I started at Murdoch in January 2016. This follows an academic career, of more than ten years. I am a passionate educator and highlights include winning a Vice Chancellors Award for the teaching of Human Resource Management, the Dean’s award for Undergraduate teaching and being a finalist in the Uni Lecturer of the year. I have extensive experience as a course coordinator, unit coordinator and lecturer. I have designed, developed and delivered a range of learning experiences for a range of audiences, including students, management and executives. My academic role is supported by a consulting career in which I have worked on many large strategic and operational projects, both locally and overseas.

Research Interest

My current research interests include: blended learning, curriculum development, leading change and student engagement.
