Biography
Dr Bin Luo is currently a postdoctoral research fellow in the Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (AIBN). He received his doctoral degree in Physical Chemistry from National Center for Nanoscience and Technology (NCNST) of China, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) in July 2013. In the past several years, he has done intensive work on the synthesis of graphene based materials and their applications in clean energy areas and contributed more than 30 original journal publications (including top ranking journals such as Adv. Mater., Energy Environ. Sci., Nano Lett., Small, etc.)
Research Interest
Development of two dimensional functional nanomaterials/nanostructures for energy storage or conversion applications, including rechargeable batteries, supercapacitors and photocatalysis.
