Biography
Often described as a "academic-practitioner", Marc has the passion to help demystify accounting and financial concepts in a lucid, practical and meaningful manner and leaves a 'mark' of his own on his audiences. Marc has facilitated many courses in accounting, finance, corporate governance and risk management. He has over 18 years work experience (academic as well as in consulting). He has taught courses for Bachelor degrees, Master degrees, as well as professional courses. During his consulting work as a risk management consultant in one of the Big 4 public accounting firms, his industry clients included banking and investment, software development, academia, power generation, electronics, government, research, retail and not-for-profit organizations. After his move from consulting to academia, his passion for accounting has earned him recognition among his students and colleagues.
