Biography
Dr. Patrick Tang is a Senior Lecturer in the Discipline of Construction Management, in the School of Architecture and Built Environment at the University of Newcastle. Dr. Tang received Bachelor (1st Class Honors) and PhD degrees in construction engineering from the City University of Hong Kong. Before joining the University of Newcastle in 2009, Dr. Tang was an Instructor in the Department of Building and Construction at the City University of Hong Kong. His active research covers a wide range of subjects including, sustainable concrete, structural lightweight concrete, building defects diagnosis, structural retrofitting and environmental sustainability, as well as, web-based teaching and learning.
