Biography
Mike is responsible for the company’s growth and development activities, including Newcrest’s global exploration program and a growing portfolio of strategic partnerships, farm-in arrangements and investments across Asia Pacific, West Africa and the Americas.Mike joined Newcrest in July 2015. Prior to joining Newcrest Mike was at MMG where he was Executive General Manager Business Development. He has over 25 years’ resource industry experience in Australia and internationally and has worked extensively in the gold sector and base metals with En+ Group, Macquarie Bank, WMC Resources, Normandy Mining and Kenmare Resources.
