Biography
Dr Kinton works as a consultant neurologist with a special interest in epilepsy. She runs an epilepsy clinic for patients with intractable epilepsy (seizures that have not been controlled by treatment), most of whom are referred by other neurologists. This involves the work up and assessment of patients for epilepsy surgery and vagal nerve stimulation, a procedure in which a device implanted under the skin can reduce the number of seizures a patient has.
