Biography
Greg Hume was appointed Nova’s Global Chief Executive Officer in July 2016 following a number of years as the company’s Chief Operations Officer. Greg established Nova’s initial operations in Queensland when he joined the company in 2003 following a career as a qualified Flight Test Engineer with the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), where he served across a range of military aircraft acquisition and flight test projects. Greg has over 25 years’ experience in aerospace test and evaluation, airworthiness certification, project management and systems engineering. Greg holds a bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering, is a graduate of the USAF Test Pilots' School and the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and has attended a number of post graduate business courses including the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia, a Member of the Society of Flight Test Engineers and the Flight Test Society of Australia. Greg is also a director on the Board of Rural LAP, an initiative of the Australian Federal Government to provide locum support for eligible specialist and GP obstetricians and anaesthetists, nurses, midwives and allied health professionals in rural & remote areas of Australia. He is happily married to Tracy and has 3 children. He enjoys trekking, bushwalking, travel, woodworking and reading.
