Biography
Mr. Alexander joined Cohera in May 2017, bringing with him more than 10 years of corporate finance and management experience. Prior to joining the Company, he served as Director of Finance at TearScience, Inc., a medical device company, where he oversaw the daily operations of finance and accounting, managed the preparation of all financial reports and prepared annual budgets and business plans. He, also, led a team of Finance Professionals in the areas of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Financial Analytics and Strategic Financial Management. He has also held multiple financial management roles in the organizations of Novan Therapeutics, Scynexis, and Trimeris. Mr. Alexander is a certified public accountant in North Carolina and Indiana. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts degrees in finance and accounting from Indiana University, as well as an MBA from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and a recent course study at the Bell Leadership Institute in Chapel Hill, NC.
