Biography
Dr Lynsey Byrom Dr Lynsey Byrom holds general registration with the Australian Practitioner Regulation Agency and is also registered with Medicare Australia. In addition she holds membership with the Australian ​Psychological Society and the Australian Clinical Psychology Association. Dr Byrom attended the University of Auckland in New Zealand and graduated with a Doctor of Clinical Psychology and Bachelor of Arts Honours (First Class). She was also awarded The University of Auckland and The Federation of Graduate Women Scholarships. Dr Byrom is dedicated to delivering empathetic, individualised, and professional services to clients. She has significant experience utilising various evidence-based approaches to enable her clients achieve their therapy goals including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT). Dr Byrom has worked in a variety of settings including institutional, research, public, and private mental health. Dr Byrom has particular interest in issues affecting corporate individuals including goal setting, self-confidence, management of stress and time, mindfulness techniques, and addressing disorders of sleep, mood, and anxiety.
