Biography
In his role as Ostwald Bros’ Chief Executive Officer, Brendan has led the expansion of Ostwald Bros from a small civil construction company to a diversified, market-leading construction and mining services company. A hands-on administrator with practical civil construction experience, Brendan has over 20 years’ involvement in the management of large-scale developments in eastern Australia. His ability to attract skilled people, and his competence in realising the company vision, have been the driving factors behind Ostwald Bros’ diversification and growth. Brendan has played a vital role in facilitating the company’s evolution through a personalised management style that supports the company’s values and culture. He has worked with Queensland Government on developing strategic direction papers for the resources industry and is a non-executive director of Strike Energy.
