Biography

Scott Farr joined Pediatric Associates in 2015 as Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Farr came to Pediatric Associates (PA) with over twenty years of diverse leadership, operations, strategy and development experience with physician organizations, children’s hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers, healthcare start-ups and payer organizations. Prior to joining Pediatric Associates, Scott was the Vice President of Strategic Development, Continuum of Care and Physician Services at El Camino Hospital (ECH) in Silicon Valley, CA where he was instrumental in developing and implementing value-based care models and population health management. While at ECH, he also managed Ambulatory Surgical Services, Cancer Care, Heart and Vascular Care, Behavioral Health and Primary Care Services as part of its 1,800 physician medical staff. Additionally, he was recognized for launching the first “patient-centered” medical home in Northern California focused on improving care and outcomes to patients 65 and older. Prior to his time in CA, Mr. Farr was the CEO of MedicaVentures, a healthcare strategy and management consulting group, CEO at Dell Children’s Hospital – ‘Specially for Children, VP – Operations & Development Officer at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and CEO of University Medical Group. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and double masters’ degrees from the University of Houston. He also received a Certificate in Leadership Excellence from Vanderbilt University Owen Graduate School of Management. Mr. Farr continues his career leading Pediatric Associates’ strategic growth – geographic and specialty expansion along with developing and managing PA’s population health initiatives. Under Farr’s leadership, Pediatric Associates has grown to be recognized as the national leader in pediatric population management. With his breadth of experience and expertise, Mr. Farr helps guide both short and long-term strategy to position Pediatric Associates for continued success.
