Biography
Associate Professor Prabhakar Ramachandran is a Senior Medical Physicist and Physics Site Manager at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre's Bendigo Radiotherapy Centre. He has post-graduate degrees in Medical Physics and Computer Science. He earned his PhD from All India Institute of Medical Sciences. He holds accreditation in Radiotherapy QA from the Australasian College of Physical Scientists and Engineers in Medicine (ACPSEM) and in Radiation Safety from the Australasian Radiation Protection Society Inc (ARPS). Associate Professor Ramachandran is board certified by The American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Medical Physics. His research interests include real-time dosimetry, treatment planning, 4D-imaging, image-guided radiation therapy and radiation dosimetry .
