Biography
Bernadette Knowles is an experienced Pelvic Floor Physio who consults at PhysioWorks. Bernadette completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 1988, at the University of Queensland. After graduating she worked in the public hospital system and gained experience in a wide range of areas including women's health. Bernadette travelled and worked in the United States for a period of 6 years. During that time she gained experience in the rehabilitation and musculoskeletal physiotherapy settings. When Bernadette returned to Australia, she rekindled her interest in women's health. She has since focused entirely on pelvic floor physiotherapy in the public hospital system and now consults privately at PhysioWorks. Bernadette specialises in the treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction.
