Biography
Chuck Clarke has more than 30 years of hands-on experience in devising, managing and improving energy delivery systems. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Virginia Tech and began his career in 1986 with respected global engineering giant Bechtel. He also has worked with the U.S. Department of Energy. He expanded on his experience with power system design through an entrepreneurial partnership, eventually founding Empower Energy Technology with Mark Bell in 2007. Now focused on sustainable energy and energy management, he has helped to lead Empower into its stature as a growing enterprise in the changing and dynamic energy market. In addition to his undergraduate degree, he has received graduate level training in civil engineering and construction management and holds NABCEP technical certification.
