Biography
Mark C. Bell is a seasoned engineering and product management specialist with more than 20 years’ experience. He founded Empower Energy Technology in 2007 after successful tenures at such corporate icons as Cox and BellSouth. The high-speed Internet portfolio he managed for Cox set a company standard for growth. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Georgia Tech and a master’s degree in computer information systems from Georgia State University. He has a seat on the board of directors for the Georgia Solar Energy Association and served as its chairman for a 1 1/2 term that ended in August 2014. He is also on the Board of the Georgia Solar Energy Industries Association and a member of the TAG Smart Grid Society.
