Biography
Brian Derek Meltzer is a Non-Executive director of PRANA Biotechnology and he has served as a director of our company since December 1999. He has over 30 years experience in finance. Until December 2013, He was a director of Momentum Ventures Limited, licensed by the government as an Innovation Investment Fund with venture capital investments including biotechnology. He is a non-executive director on the boards of a number of private companies. Mr. Meltzer is also a director on the board of the Australian-Israel Chamber of Commerce and is Chairman of Independence Australia (previously Paraquad). He is Chairman of our Audit Committee and Remuneration Committee. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Auckland and a Master of Economics degree from Monash University.

Alzheimer’s and Huntington's diseases, Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders (PBT434) and brain cancer (PBT519), pre-clinical toxicology testing, Metal Protein Attenuating Compounds.
