Steven Yatomi-clarke

Biography

 Steven Yatomi-Clarke has a distinguished career in the Australian capital markets with a particular focus on the life sciences sector, where he has played a leading role as both a corporate advisor and fund raiser to many biotechnology companies.  Mr Yatomi-Clarke previously held a position as a Director in Corporate Finance at Patersons Securities. Educated at the University of Melbourne, where he earned a Bachelor of Science with an Honours Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and a Bachelor Commerce majoring in Economics, he has the rare distinction of readily bridging the divide between science and commerce. He has a strong track record of financing multiple private and public biotechnology companies, bringing more than 15 years’ experience in investment banking with a particular focus on the life sciences/biotechnology sector. Mr Yatomi-Clarke has consistently been one of the country’s most prolific bankers, involved in primary and secondary offerings, corporate advisory and M&A assignments for medical device and pharmaceutical companies.
