Biography
Sarah’s insights regarding the mind, body, and spirit connection have come from a lifetime of personal and professional discovery. After experiencing numerous traumatic events as a young girl, Sarah dedicated her life to understanding the mechanisms by which thoughts, feelings, and emotions interact to produce physical and behavioural outcomes. Sarah’s passionate desire to understand more of these processes and to assist others in doing the same, is what led her to Havening. While having also completed an undergraduate and Honours degree in Psychological Science, Sarah has come to understand that freedom from ineffective behaviour is not a matter of ‘fixing’ things, but rather, is an opportunity to balance and recondition old or ineffective patterns both physically and mentally. In allowing our brains to think and function in more open and expansive ways, unwanted or distressing thoughts, feelings, and behaviours drop away like old leaves falling from a tree.
