Biography
Andrea Pirondini has a degree in Business Administration from Università Commerciale L. Bocconi, Milan. He started his career in Pirelli Group in 1989, holding various positions in the UK, Italy, Turkey, Russia and Egypt over a 24-year period, both in the Tyre and Cables & Systems Sectors, where he took part in the restructuring of the industrial system for Energy Cables. In 2012 he was appointed Chief Commercial Officer of Pirelli Tyre S.p.A, a role he held until December 2013. Pirondini has been Chief Operating Officer of Prysmian Group since January 2014.
