Biography
Hans Nieman became Senior Vice President for Energy Business Products in January 2014. After graduating cum laude in Literature at the University of Amsterdam he was educated as a diplomat at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs during several national and international assignments. He switched to the private sector in 1992 and joined the cable industry almost 20 years ago where he held several positions for NKF, Pirelli and Prysmian. In 2002 he took responsibility for the Group´s Submarine and High Voltage activities, and in 2010 became CEO of the German activities of Prysmian, a position he held until 2014.
