Biography
Amran joined BioCentury in March 2017 as Senior Editor of Research & Analytics. Immediately prior to this position, he was a sell-side equity research analyst at Jefferies LLC covering the specialty pharmaceuticals sector. He’s also held industry positions as a sales and marketing manager at Johnson & Johnson and as a process chemist at Merck & Co. Inc. Amran has a B.S. in chemistry from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor; an M.S. in organic chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; and an MBA from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.
