Biography
He received a PhD degree in physics from The Australian National University in Canberra in 1987. Until June 2000 Marek was a Principal Research Scientist at the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO Australia). He is the inventor of the Quantum-Ï€ technology platform patent for tunnelling devices and sole inventor or coinventor of four other Quantum-Ï€ patents.
Research Interest
Research expertise and interests: Nanotechnology, Theoretical and Computational Condensed Matter Physics, Surface Science, Computational Quantum Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Supercomputing and Parallel Computing and Computational Life Sciences. Organised three scientific meetings (two international). Edited two books on Computational Life Sciences. Author of over 30 scientific refereed papers and book chapters and more than 60 conference presentations in 13 countries .
