Pearce Bowman

Biography

Pearce has over 41 years experience in the engineering and resource business with a career spanning the mineral extraction and power generation industries. He worked previously as the Executive Chairman and CEO of PMI Gold Corporation, CEO of Australian Power & Energy Ltd (now Monash Energy), Executive GM of WMC Resources Ltd and CEO of Generation Victoria. This followed a series of senior management roles in the resources sector in Canada and Australia. Pearce has also served as a board member on several developing resource companies and as President or Chairman on various mineral industry and community associations. He has served as Member of the Electricity Reform Taskforce of the Business Council of Australia, Executive Member of Minerals Council of Australia, Member of the Premier's Roundtable (SA), President of the South Australian Chamber of Mines and Energy, Deputy Chairman of the SA Resources Taskforce, Member of the South Australian Development Council and as President of the Saskatchewan Chamber of Mines. Graduating from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Hons) and a Master of Engineering Science, Pearce has also received a Masters of Business Administration (Advanced) from the University of Adelaide.
