Biography
Laureate Professor Qing-Long Han is a leading researcher at the international level in the field of Control Theory and Control Engineering. At the University Rockhampton Graduation Ceremony on 6 March 2014, Central Queensland University awarded him the Title of Laureate Professor for his international research achievements and leadership, establishment of the Centre for Intelligent and Networked Systems, impressive portfolio of publications in world class journals, and research grant successes. In March 2010, he was appointed a prestigious Chair by China’s Ministry of Education, “Chang Jiang (Yangtze River) Scholar Chair Professor” in recognition of his outstanding contributions to Control Theory and Control Engineering. In August 2011, the Talents Coordination Committee of Shanxi Province of China confirmed that he was selected and appointed as “100 Talents Program” Chair Professor due to his outstanding contributions to Control Theory and Control Engineering. In September 2013, he was selected and appointed as “Overseas Outstanding Professor” by Shanghai Education Committee, Shanghai Municipality, China. He was also appointed Chair Professor at Hangzhou Dianzi University and Dalian Maritime University, P. R. China; Invited Professor at LAII-ESIP, Université de Poitiers, France; and Guest Professor at Huazhou University of Science and Technology, East China University of Science and Technology; Zhejiang University of Technology, Nanjing Normal University, and Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, P.R. China.
