Biography
William Guo is currently professor of computing and mathematics at CQUniversity. He served as the Dean of School of Engineering and Technology from Jan 2014 to Jan 2015 and was the Deputy Dean of School from Feb 2013 to Jan 2014. His strong leadership during the time, particularly in 2014 as the Dean, guided the School to the success of professional re-accreditation of CQU IT Programs by the Australian Computer Society (ACS) for another five years, and his strategic vision helped the University's plan and investment of Engineering Program Expansion to Gladstone, Bundaberg, Mackay, and Cairns from 2015. He has put a great effort on establishing long-term partnership with Chinese institutions.
