Jan Alexander (sander) Pruijs

Biography

Mr Pruijs was re-appointed to the Board on 24 May 2016 – having previously served as a director from 26 November 2010 to 27 August 2014. He has a degree in Dutch Business Law from Leiden University. Mr Pruijs joined Rabobank in 2008, after having spent more than 20 years with ABN AMRO in a variety of international management positions. He is a member of Rabobank’s Management Team Wholesale, Rural and Retail responsible for Global Retail Banking. Mr Pruijs is an Executive Chairman of Rabobank National Association (RNA) in California as well as being the Chairman of Rabobank Ireland plc and President Commissioner of the Board of Commissioners of Rabobank Indonesia. He is also a director of Rabobank New Zealand Limited and Rabo Australia Limited. Mr Pruijs is a member of the Board Audit Committee, Board Risk & Compliance Committee and the Board Remuneration Committee.
