Biography
Neil Woodbridge specialises in environmental due diligence (EDD), compliance assessments, contaminated land assessment and remedial design and costing. He has 14 years’ experience, predominantly in the field of environmental assessment of contaminated land and EDD. Having worked in contaminated land for public- and private-sector clients in the oil, gas, mineral, chemical and pharmaceutical sectors in the beginning of his career, Neil has shifted his focus to EDD within transaction support for the financial, commercial and property sectors, particularly working with cross-border transactions. His primary area of expertise is in undertaking and managing contaminated land Phase I and II environmental assessments, involving qualitative and quantitative risk assessments and chemical data interpretation, to determine regulatory environmental liabilities and subsequent development of cost effective remedial options. Additionally, he has extensive experience in the areas of asbestos management for large property portfolios, emergency oil spill response, landfill gas risk assessment, pathological waste and ordnance- and explosives-related issues. Neil holds a BSc in environment and society from Middlesex University, and is a member of the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand.
