Biography
Dr. Paul Goldsworthy has more than 20 years’ experience in environmental impact and ecological risk assessment across Australia, Asia and New Zealand. He specialises in impact assessments and monitoring, ecological risk assessments, sediment and water quality assessments and sediment remediation planning. Paul’s specific focus is on the assessment and analysis of ecological constraints for pre-feasibility and front-end engineering design for major infrastructure projects. He has also provided environmental assessment and design advice for upstream oil and gas, refineries, ports and greenfield coastal developments. He has been responsible for sediment quality, water quality and ecological risk assessments for ports, petrochemical plants and riverine infrastructure (weirs), as well as for the development of sediment remediation plans and remediation option analysis for decommissioned industrial facilities.
