Biography
Ronan Kellaghan has 12 years of experience in environmental assessment, with expertise in air quality assessment and management, dispersion modelling, odour assessment, monitoring and greenhouse gas quantification. With 10 years of air quality consulting experience in Australia, Ronan has worked on more than 100 air quality assessments for diverse industries and sectors, such as mining and extractive, waste and wastewater treatment, energy and energy from waste, transport and infrastructure, food and agriculture. He has prepared and presented evidence for the NSW Land and Environment Court, and has been involved in legal mediation and Section 34 conferencing. He has presented on air quality issues for a Senate Enquiry into air quality and health, and engaged with stakeholders through consultation committees and information sessions for various projects. Prior to joining Ramboll Environ, Ronan worked for the UK Environment Agency where he was responsible for statutory compliance reporting under various EU directives. He has experience in database management, analysis and GIS, and is a certified odour assessor under AS/NZS 4323.3:2001.
