Biography
James is a 10 year experienced physiotherapist who has been awarded a Post-Graduate Masters of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne (2014). This specialised postgraduate training in back and neck pain signifies a high-level of experience, learning, and thinking in this sports-related branch of physiotherapy. James is one of the Melbourne Storm physios, in 2015 he was head physiotherapist for the under 20s, and is currently with the NRL senior squad. Additionally, James has recently been appointed team Physiotherapist for the Carlton FC’s associate VFL side, the Northern Blues FC. He has a strong passion for professional sports performance as team physiotherapist for Lyngby Soccer Team in the Danish First Division in 2012/13 season, and Old Melbournians Football Club in 1st Division VAFA from 2005-2012. As a Physiotherapist, James has strengths in Spinal Physiotherapy, utilises hands on manual therapy, and understands the importance of retraining core strength. He has a special interest in knee, foot and ankle injuries, and improving running and movement biomechanics to address the causative factors of pain.
