Biography
B.A with honours (Cambridge University UK), Dip Applied Finance (Aus), Member Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. Mike joined Ridley’s strategy team in November 2011, and was promoted to Head of Strategy & Business Development in July 2013 which he led until taking up his current role in January 2016. Mike brings a broad range of commercial experience and skills to his role. Having initially qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) London, Mike moved into the investment banking/M&A sector, firstly with Convex Capital in the UK and, more latterly, with PwC M&A in Australia. In these roles Mike led and managed a wide range of both buy and sell-side M&A transactions across a number of sectors, including agribusiness.
