Biography
"Dominic Redfern creates video works at the intersection of site, screen and identity, which give critical expression to the complexity of screen-mediated experience. Over recent years his practice has become increasingly focused on the history of natural history and contemporary understandings of place. These interests are expressed with a self-conscious approach to the technology and culture of video, making it both subject and medium for his work. Over the last couple of years Dominic has had exhibitions at home as well as in Tokyo, Stockholm and Shanghai and he has undertaken research in Orkney and Mull as well in La Rochelle for future projects."
