Biography
Yan joined the School of Mathematical and Geospatial Sciences at the beginning of 2009 as a lecturer in Statistics. She is currently teaching two elementary statistics subjects, and two advanced subjects, Multivariate Data Analysis, and Exploratory Data Analysis. Her research interests are spatial statistics, enumeration of animal and human population making use of capture-recapture method, and statistical analyses of epidemiological, ecological and other associated data.
